ExplainMe is a parent-focused app for reviewing child check-ins, reflections, routines, and insights.

What data we collect

- Family and child profile information that you enter in the app
- Check-ins, reflections, routines, and related content you create
- Subscription and entitlement information related to premium access
- Usage and diagnostic data, including product analytics and technical telemetry
- App and device identifiers used for app functionality, linked-device flows, and analytics
How we use data
- To provide the app’s core functionality
- To manage family accounts, child profiles, and linked child-device access
- To process and restore premium subscription access
- To generate insights and summaries from app activity
- To monitor reliability, diagnose issues, and improve the product
Services we use
ExplainMe uses third-party service providers to help operate the app, including:
- Apple, for Sign in with Apple, App Store purchase processing, and TestFlight distribution
- RevenueCat, for subscription management and entitlement handling
- Microsoft Azure, for backend hosting, data storage, and application monitoring
Advertising and tracking
ExplainMe does not use your data for third-party advertising tracking across other companies’ apps or websites.
Data retention
We retain data for as long as needed to operate the app, maintain accounts and family records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and improve service reliability.
Your choices
- You can stop using the app at any time
- You can contact support if you have questions about your data
- You can manage your subscriptions through your Apple account and App Store settings
Children’s information
ExplainMe is intended for parent or guardian use. Child-related information entered into the app is managed by the parent or guardian using the service.
